Adding yeast to pig feed can increase feed efficiency

Adding yeast to pig feed can increase feed efficiency The addition of yeast to ruminant livestock feeds can improve their performance, while the addition of yeast to pig feed has different effects, which may be influenced by other ingredients in the feed. Researchers in the United Kingdom added different proportions of yeast and dry whey powder to corn and soya-bean type pig feed to compose four kinds of diets to feed the hybrid pigs, and the protein, lysine, metabolizable energy and calcium of the four diets after the combination. The difference between phosphorus and phosphorus is small, and it is strengthened by vitamins, minerals and antibiotics. The results showed that there was no significant difference in daily gain, feed intake and feed efficiency among the groups, but the highest daily gain and feed efficiency were highest in the high and low whey powder groups. The researchers also studied the effect of adding yeast to feeds containing high crude fiber. They used corn and soybean cake as the basic diet, and then added 8% of soybean shell and 8% of rapeseed shell to form two experimental diets. Each diet was added with or without 0.75% of yeast to form 6 experimental groups. The trial was divided into two phases, namely the piglet period 6 weeks after weaning and the subsequent 3 weeks growth period. The results showed that the addition of yeast in high crude fiber diets did not promote the growth of lactating pigs, but the feed efficiency had a tendency to increase. High crude fiber and high crude fiber diets added yeast to decrease feed intake of piglets. However, during the growth period, the diets fed with high crude fiber had significantly lower weight gain and feed efficiency. The addition of yeast could relieve the negative effect of high crude fiber. The effect of adding yeast in the soybean shell diet was especially significant.(we hve also Corn Gluten Feed 18%;Corn Gluten Meal 60%.Mycoprotein 70%)
